Liz O. Baylen
Born in 1979, she graduated from Ohio University's School of Visual Communications in 2001 and immediately after began a five-year stint at The Washington Times. She has covered assignments around the world, including Lebanon, Syria, Korea, the Caucauses, and Guantanamo Bay. While with The Washington Times she was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for her contribution to the staff's coverage of the DC sniper in 2002. Most recently, her images have appeared in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times. |
