In DC series, the image circle was designed to match the size of the sensors of most digital SLR cameras.An image sensor larger than those corresponding to APS-C should not be used in digital SLR cameras or 35mm SLR cameras, APS film cameras. If such an element is used with these lenses vignetting will occur on the picture surface.
